These pictures represent a positive image about blacks and what they stand for. These pictures are showing how each and everyone of these African Americans' went against every statistic and everyone who said they would never make it. It also goes against the countries view of blacks , and shows that not all blacks are mess ups and make nothing of their lives and also shows that they made it. When I say they "made" I am meaning they have the power to change the views of those who saw them as worthless. These are just a few successful blacks who wanted better for themselves and their families. they saw education as a way out. What I see when I look at this picture is beauty for the fact that even though they are successful the girls are being goofy and the guys are still representing where they are from. This is related to the quote we analyzed on Monday because the country has made it so hard for us to be happy for successful blacks because were so used to seeing them down and out. Seeing successful blacks should never be a surprise oppose to a regular majority. we are brainwashed into thinking blacks will go nowhere in life.
